A small gold plated steel cylinder clasp measuring 16mm long by 12mm in diameter this clasp is suited to our finer beaded necklaces and pearl strands ranging from 8mm to a maximum of 12mm in diameter. This is an elegant and contemporary piece and it is often a first choice to finish newly restrung pearls, straddling as it does the contemporary and classic.

Pictured with 8.5 to 9.5mm round silver grey pearls we love the warmth the gold brings to the pearls creating an almost bimetal appearance.

A large rough yellow beryl clasp measuring approximately 28mm wide, 25mm high and 17mm deep with steel mechanism. Belonging to the same family as emerald and aquamarine this is a fine sample of this less familiar beryl. It is flat to the rear with a crystalline shape and deceptively comfortable to wear.

This clasp looks particularly well when combined with our lemon quartz triangular barrel or gold plated steel multistrand necklaces.

Handmade interchangeable black onyx cylinder clasp measuring approximately 21mm long x 14mm round. This unique clasp has attractive white inclusions on one side and is fitted with steel mechanisms.

Put simply black onyx works well on most skin tones and will be an attractive feature on any contrasting coloured stone necklace.  Meanwhile its cyclindrical shape is an attractive counter point to round beads.

Handmade carnelian ball clasp measuring approximately 18mm round and fitted with gold plated steel mechanisms. This mid sized clasp’s autumnal colouring is suited to browns, blacks and beiges and pairs well with necklaces of up to 18mm in diameter though a slightly smaller diameter gives a better contrast in scale.

Pictured with a matte black onyx cylindrical bead necklace the carnelian clasp is the focal point of this low key piece.

This is a particularly versatile clasp suiting as it does almost all shades and sizes of necklace from 8mm amazonite upwards. At 20mm round it is quite substantial and can hold its own on our rubber and leather necklaces as well as our range of wire multistrands.

Dyed turquoise blue howlite ball clasp measuring approximately 19mm round with fine beige and brown crazing visible from all angles. With its lovely summery colour this clasp will go with almost any strand including cream pearls and onyx.
