At 16mm it suits our finer necklaces creating as it does contrasting scale. However, it will still look attractive on beads up to and including 16mm round.

A bright golden Murano glass ball clasp measuring 20mm in diameter with gold plated steel mechanisms . This is a lovely alternative to our gold plated steel clasps with the gold foil bringing texture within the smooth glass sphere.

Gold looks well with any colour bead or pearl so this would be an ideal initial clasp to launch your collection. It’s pictured here with a chrome diopside multistrand and our 11-12.5mm freshwater cream pearls.

Handmade rough aquamarine clasp measuring approximately 22mm from one side to the other and fitted with steel interchangeable mechanisms.

Rough tanzanite interchangeable clasp with steel mechanisms measuring approximately 16mm long by 27mm wide by 16mm deep.

This mid-sized tanzanite pairs well with a simple cream or grey pearl strands as well as contrasting with orange moonstone or perhaps green chrysoprase. Create a restrained look with our rock crystal multistrand necklace or opt for an exciting and unique pairing with our faceted carnelian multistrand. This clasp is particularly versatile.

Interchangeable 14mm gold plated steel ball clasp with a directional matt finish. This is a really useful clasp suiting as it does anything from 8 to 14mm bead and pearl strands. It is particularly attractive when paired with a contemporary steel mesh necklet (pictured). Less obvious is how this clasp can be combined with any larger one to create a double clasp by way of our gold and steel adaptors.

14mm interchangeable steel ball clasp. This directional matt finished steel sphere can be worn to the back as a discrete closure on pearls or as a feature with any of our steel mesh or wire multistrand necklaces. It’s compact size means that it is a good choice for bead strands up to 14mm and it lends itself to being worn in series with another larger clasp by way of a steel adaptor. It is also available in 16mm and 20mm.

A grey-green Murano glass ball clasp with steel mechanisms in 18, 20 or 21mm. These clasps are generous and are similar in tone to an extremely large Tahitian pearl. As such they work well with cream pearls as well as our range of beaded multistrands. For a contemporary twist this sizeable clasp makes an ideal focal point on our rubber, leather and steel necklaces.

Pictured here with our 10.5-11mm round cream fresh water pearl strand the exaggerated size of the clasp makes a thoroughly contemporary statement.

Interchangeable banded grey agate cylinder clasp measuring approximately 24mm long by 14mm round with steel mechanisms. This clasp displays agate’s typical banding and graduates diagonally from light grey to dark. It looks well when combined with creams, blues and purples and will suit any of our wire multistrands. Pictured with a faceted garnet multistrand necklace it’s cylindrical shape and neutral tone is understated and elegant.

Handmade lapis lazuli ball clasp measuring approximately 19mm round and fitted with gold plated steel interchangeable mechanism. Lapis is a perennial favourite and its navy blue goes particularly well with other blues, creams and greys.

At 19mm it is a good sized clasp and suits necklaces from 10 to 18mm as well as our steel multistrands.

Rough tanzanite interchangeable clasp with steel mechanisms measuring approximately 25mm long by 23mm wide by 16mm deep.

A relatively large clasp this tanzanite pairs well with some of our bigger necklaces such as white coral or howlite. It also looks particularly attractive when combined with our fine steel multistrand or amazonite multistrand necklaces (pictured).

A striking large lapis lazuli clasp measuring 26mm wide, 18mm high and 17mm deep and fitted with gold plated steel mechanisms. It is a deep blue colour with hints of gold on one side and its oblong barrel shape is softened by curved edges. This clasp is perfect on classic pearls or paired with lighter blues.

Suggested combinations: Amazonite, matte rock crystal or cream pearls. Pictured with an 18mm howlite necklace the scale is well suited to larger beads.
